In addition to Rabbi Shefa’s chanting, she expresses herself through art. In general, she uses Caliart® paint markers on Manga paper. All original paintings are framed. Most of the paintings are either 9″x12″ or 11″x14″.

From July 30-August 5, 2021 these paintings will be available for sale at the Wild & Whimsy Art Show, which will be at the Jemez Fine Art Gallery in Jemez Springs, NM. The show’s opening celebration is August 1 from 2-5pm. Proceeds from any sale benefit Jemez Helping Hands! See the Schedule for details.

On July 31, 2021 (5PM Pacific, 6PM Mountain, 7PM Central, and 8PM Eastern time) Rabbi Shefa will personally show and talk about each of her paintings at The Wild & Whimsy Art Show by Zoom. See the Schedule for details.

In the future, Rabbi Shefa plans to use this art to make cards to sell as a fundraiser for local food banks.
